For information of new members, the Parent and Child Event is a two person 25m relay race for a Parent and a Child. Both the parent and child\u00a0 go to the blocks and one swimmer dives in and swims to the rope at the 25m mark and the next swimmer dives in a swims to the rope. Separate divisions and thus races enable a Parent to swim with more than one child.<\/p>\n

For those unable to swim in the Parent and Child, two members may form\u00a0 a team and compete in the Brace Relay, run on a similar basis to the Parent and Child.<\/p>\n

Children with Swimming Parents must swim with a Parent in the Parent and Child event. Two children without Swimming parents may swim together as a team but must remain as that team for each Brace event in the season.<\/p>\n

This form\u00a0 will enable you to register swimmers for the Parent and Child or Brace events.<\/p>\n

You will be asked to supply the following information.<\/p>\n

Parent and Child or Brace Swimmers’ Names<\/span><\/h3>\n

Select the down arrow to see a full list of paired<\/strong> swimmers names. If you have a keyboard, you can type the first three letters of the family name to move to the section of the list where the names may be found.
\nPlease note that if you wish to swim as a pairing not shown in the list, you will need to come to the clubhouse prior to 9.45am.<\/p>\n

Choose an Option<\/span><\/h3>\n

Indicate whether you are registering for swimming or cancelling a previous registration.<\/p>\n

Submission<\/span><\/h3>\n

Finally you will be asked to verify the names of the swimmers you selected and submit the request. This is an important step – if you select the wrong name you will not be registered.
\nYou may submit as many registration requests and cancellation as you wish – only the last entry will be processed .
\nThe form will be open from midday on Saturday until 9.45 am on Sunday morning. If you cannot register online you will need to go to the clubhouse to register prior to 9.45am.<\/p>\n<\/div>
